Anthrax or Powdered Alfredo Sauce - Which is Worse?
Just how low can we go?

Updated Mar 04, 2019

I don’t know why anyone would make a powder out of Alfredo Sauce. Maybe to make sure people don’t know the caloric content of the real ingredients. In any case:

Three emergency agencies responded to a call shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Grand River Hospital and Medical Center in Rifle because two employees had been exposed to a white, powdery substance found in an envelope. The envelope was opened at an off-site billing department facility.

Turns out, after all the running around you’d expect, it was someone sending an envelope of said Alfredo sauce. No doubt there’s some fettuccine on the way, disguised as tapeworms.

I’m glad they opened it at the billing department though. So much nicer than a lab.
