Hmmm, it appears that most of the food shown on Julie and Julia was quite real, even the stuff on diner’s plates in Restaurant backgrounds.

Still, I find this hard to believe:

But then there was a lobster thermidor and we used potatoes instead, because nobody wants to sit in front of lobster and have to eat it take after take.
